1. Common Warning Signs

Be cautious if someone:

  • asks you to pay for a job offer, interview, training, or recruitment;
  • requests banking details, passwords, or identification too early;
  • offers unusually high pay for little work or no experience;
  • communicates only through messaging apps or personal email accounts;
  • pressures you to act immediately or keep the opportunity confidential;
  • sends a cheque and asks you to return or transfer money; or
  • guarantees a visa, work permit, permanent residence, or employment.

2. Protect Yourself

  • Research the employer and confirm its official contact information.
  • Verify that the job appears on the employer’s official website.
  • Do not send money, gift cards, cryptocurrency, or banking credentials.
  • Do not share unnecessary sensitive or immigration documents.
  • Use strong passwords and keep your PrimeJobBank login confidential.
  • Review employment terms carefully before accepting any offer.

3. Employer Responsibilities

Employers must post genuine, lawful, and accurate employment opportunities. Fraudulent postings, improper fee demands, misleading information, misuse of candidate data, and discriminatory or unlawful conduct are prohibited.

PrimeJobBank does not guarantee the identity, conduct, reliability, or legitimacy of every user or job posting. We do not guarantee interviews, employment, employer responses, wages, visas, work permits, permanent residence, or any immigration outcome.

5. Report Suspicious Activity

Please report suspicious job postings, payment requests, impersonation, account misuse, privacy concerns, or other unsafe activity through our Report a Concern page.
